An event hosted by CXIT our in house IT department and CXSD our software development department, networking 101 aims to teach fundamentals of computer networking.

Computer networking is the practice of connecting and interconnecting computer systems to enable communication and resource sharing. It encompasses various technologies and protocols, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, DNS, and Wi-Fi, among others. Networking enables the sharing of resources like files, printers, and internet access, fostering collaboration and efficiency. It plays a crucial role in modern society, powering the internet, cloud computing, and the seamless exchange of data across the globe.

Conclusion

This event helped students understand network protocols and other details regarding the interconnect between computers, something we all witness but not notice in our day to day lives.
